South Australian Volleyball League

South Adelaide Volleyball Club participates in the South Australian Volleyball League (SAVL). The season runs from April to August each year, and South Adelaide enters into the Men's and Women's divisions from League and Reserves level to Divison 4.

We hold open trials each year and welcome new players to trial. Generally trials are at the end of January. Keep an eye on our social media, Latest News and Events pages for news on upcoming trials.

In the 2025 season we saw success across multiple senior teams. Congratulations to all teams on their honorable performances while representing South Adelaide, but a special mention to these teams who brought home medals:

Warrnambool Annual Seaside Volleyball Tournament

In addition to participating in SAVL, South Adelaide also sends teams to compete in the Anuual Seaside Volleyball Tournament held in Warrnambool on the March long weekend each year. We have a participation and enjoyment focus for this tournament, while still striving for competitive results. We encourage new and returning players to participate as it is a great way to meet new people at the club and experience competing against teams from interstate.

We aim to make this tournament as accessible as possible by keeping the costs down. We carpool over to Warrnambool and stay in affordable accomodation.
